The board of Hands Four Dancers of Ithaca is happy to invite you to hear some great music, livestreamed for you on Facebook!
Tune in on Wednesday, January 27, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. to hear Casey Murray and Molly Tucker play traditional folk tunes and songs and original compositions drawing from New England, Celtic, and Old Time traditions.
Casey Murray grew up in Rochester, New York, and attended Berklee College of Music, where she studied cello performance and American roots music. Fiddler Molly Tucker, a native of Thousand Oaks, California, studied violin at Oberlin College and Conservatory. They played together for the first time in 2016 at the Dandelion Romp, Oberlin’s contra dance weekend, where they discovered an immediate joyful spark in making music with one another. Together, Casey and Molly bring a fresh spirit to dance music through their improvisatory style, vocal harmonies, and original compositions.
The link to the live event will be posted on HFDI’s Facebook page.
