Hands Four Dancers of Ithaca is so excited to bring black belt caller Kathy Anderson to town this spring!

Widely admired for her exciting squares, quirky contras, and swift, clear teaching, Kathy has long been a favorite caller across the U.S., Canada, England and Denmark. Her smooth delivery and intriguing repertoire make for an entertaining and engaging dance experience.

During the afternoon Kathy will offer a square dance calling workshop for contra callers, aspiring callers, and non-calling “dance angels” who would just like to do some dancing and get an inside look at the caller’s craft. In the evening, Kathy will call a lively evening of contras to the rousing tunes of Sister Haggis, comprising two of our favorite local musicians, Eileen Kalfass and Jane Knoeck.
